Rated E for Everyone?

WagonWatch! My people need to come together & connect with each other in digital & in person spaces. We as a people living in America deserve democracy & liberation that we will not see with community. My community is black. My community is disabled & neurodivergent. My community is queer, trans, nonbinary, etc. My community is groups of independent people. My community is complex. We need to act on communal leadership under principles that protect people from oppressive systems & continue to unite us under our goals for this country.

Words of the Week: Letter E

Editorialize - to inject personal interpretations or opinions into an otherwise factual account

Type - verb

Sentence - Mistrust with modern news organizations have faces scrutiny in present time because of their patterns of editorializing major political events & stories.

Empirically - in a way that is provable or verifiable by experience or experiment

Type - adverb

Sentence - Much online discourse involves many people who are not practiced in thinking empirically about their own limited personal opinions.

Exclusionary - having the effect of excluding or shutting out something or someone

Type - adjective

Sentence - Many aspects of our culture struggle with maintaining community & commitment because of overarching exclusionary practices that individuals continue in their interactions with each other.

In my ideal utopia the rules would read:

All adults over 18+ have autonomous rights to their own body. All people under 18 have bodily autonomy under the guidance & supervision of their parents/guardians. No person should be discriminated against or harassed for race, religion, disability, gender identity, age, or other characteristics. All adults 18+ have the right to vote, to fair trial, to social services, & to public education & information.

All persons 18+ have the right to marry/partner with any other consenting adult. All marriages/partnerships must be between consenting adults over the age of 18. No one has the right to abuse children, including other children under 18. Adequate food, housing, & education should be provided for all children under 18. All people under 18 should have access to available vaccines & health care appropriate for their age.

You don't need to agree with everything I think, but it would be appreciated if you took time to understand why. We are constantly being told what to think & I would implore you to figure out why you think a certain way & how it might affect you & those around you. We have to not just survive this world, but live in it with others. How they are other isn't necessarily a bad thing. To anyone.
